Etsushi Ogawa sensei is the mastermind behind the original storyline and the manga art of Chuuka Ichiban! Besides Chuuka Ichiban, his only other manga work was called "Jipangu Treasure King Story" (Literally ^^;), which he illustrated for. Like CMB, it also serialized in Shounen Magazine, and has two volumes in tankoubon format. According to his official site, Ogawa-sensei is currently in hospital having medical treatment.
