FANSUBS Currently, CMB has not been picked up by an American Company, and doubt it ever will be. But as far as fansubs go, they are released by Anime-keep beginning September 02, 2002, and ended its run in May 29, 2003. Because of the lack of raw episode resources, some episodes are Japanese audio, some in Cantonese, and some in Mandarin. Lol I downloaded episode 50, and it is quite entertaining listening to the mandarin voices ^^ These fansubs are available via IRC, or you can download them though Anime-keep's Bittorent site. Note that thy won't always be available on Bittorent though, since there are no seeds anymore. Or if your internet connection , get them through
As an alternative, there is another good english version of CMB, subtitled by AXN. The bad thing about the AXN version though, is that some scenes are either cut out, or altered rather "creatively". These episodes float around the internet, and can be downloaded through IRC channels and fansub distrubutors. Below are links to some places where you can obtain some AXN episodes of CMB:
To those of you who understand Cantonese, you can buy VCDs of the cantonese dubs! There are two versions: The old version had been in existence practically forever; So old, they are officially out of print. Luckily, beginning March 21 2003, they are re-released by Asia Video, with new cover art ^^ The only bad thing is that instead of 2 episodes on each VCD, there is only one episode in the re-release. IMO it's pretty pointless, only a scheme by the producer to make profit :P Below are images of the two VCD versions: first edition on the left, and the re-release on the right.
![]() You can obtain the old version from Taiseng Entertainment USA if you reside in the United States, and from Taiseng Canada if you live in Canada. Watch out though, these VCDs are definitely NOT cheap! As for the re-release, you can get them from DVDshelf or Yesasia.
