Chouyu's love rival. He was a chef in Meika's restaurant. and was so much in love with her, to the point when you can call "obsessed". Meika was his sole motivation for cooking, and this was how he became such a good cook. Unfortunately, Meika loved Chouyu, not him. In the cooking battle against Chouyu, he was pricked by a poison pin inside his basket of lobsters, and was forced to forfeit halfway.
The thought of losing Meika was too much for Lien. He joined the Dark Cooking Society, hoping one day he would have revenge, because he assumed Chouyu sabotaged the lobsters. Hatred took over his mind, and he was willing to sacrifice lives of the innocent in order to fulfill his wishes. In my opinion, Lien is good boyfriend material, aside from his obsession whenever he falls in love. He has this "If I can't have my dream girl, nobody else can" attitude (as seen on all kinds of soap operas), which can be dangerous. He watches your every move, gets suspicious whenever you are near other males, and he might just hire a professional to stalk you.
