The first person up from the DCS team, who battled against Sanche in the soup match. He made a very heavy-tasting chicken broth by stuffing 5 chickens with vegetables, and simply dumped the chicken into a big cauldron already filled with soup (One of the ways that the DCS cheated, because they've already prepared some stuff before the match began).
With the help of his multi-purpose claw, he is able to further quicken the process. One of his speedy techniques is called "Ra Kan Ko So Batsu", which is used for removing every feather on the chickens, even the littlest hairs. Furthermore, he chops various vegetables into perfect slices, and evenly stuffs them into each chicken. What is even more incredible is that one cannot see the cut marks made on the chicken where he puts the vegetables in.
Despite of the superb techniques and knifework he has, he overlooks what drinking soup is all about. Soup serves as a stomach-opener so the eater can have appetite for the main course. True, the soup Rouko made is very tasty and all the judges basically chugged it down, but it is very filling. Whereas Sanche's cold soup actually makes people want to eat more later on. Because of this, the judges all voted Sanche as the winner.
Rouko suffered a lot from the loss, because afterward his big stomach was burnt with a mark that has the Chinese words "Bad taste" on it, courtesy of The DCS.
