Name: Shell Alias: Steel Stick Shell Appearance: Tanned skin, dirty blond hair gelled back, blue eyes (Sounds like some typical Cowboy eh?). Tall and muscular, he wears this ice blue shirt with a sky blue vest over, which he can rip off easily ^^;. A yellow tie (badly done) is tied around his neck. Shell is a famous dim sum chef from Xian Xi, with his specialty being Siu Mai. He carries on him a heavy steel stick with many yellow stars on it, signifying the number of chefs he defeated. Shell views the stick as his pride and joy because it's his only cooking utensil, and gets very grumpy if it is lost (or stolen ^_~). With it, he is able to accomplish so many things, such as mincing big chunks of meat, flattening balls of dough, and even creating a tornado.
His specialty is the siu mai, but he can make other dimsum just as well. When Shellw as younger, he travelled all over China in order to gain more dimsum cooking knowledge, and one particular experience regarding how the Northern Chinese cook buns helped him to make his special "Laughing Buns" in episode 37 and 38. This dish suits Shell's personality, because he has an opimistic outlook on everything :)
Shell is very confident of his cooking, and sometimes becomes conceited (in a good way). When he first challenged Mao, he was so certain he was going to win. But he's not a sore loser either, thank goodness. As long as he feels that your cooking is truly superior than his, he will gladly agree with your victory. Even if you're part of the Dark Cooking Society ^_^
If Shell isn't a cook, he will probably become a champion Olympic gymnast, despite of his overly muscular build. Or a mathematician even, since he has so much math knowledge (eg. the Golden Ratio) ^_^
